Dr. Lucente has given me a priceless gift that I will never forget, he allowed the most important person in my life to gain there life back after a serious illness. Dr. Lucente is a remarkable person in addition to being an outstanding doctor.
Dr. Lucente is a kind hearted person who goes above and beyond his duties as a doctor. He truly cares for his patients and I am grateful to have him as my doctor. The slander that is being written about him is obscene. People are naturally curious and naive. The media uses this to their advantage. They profit from their "stories" and in-turn these ill truths ruin lives. The articles being written about Dr. Lucente are "stories" created to destroy. And just as in David and Goliath good always perseveres, as will Dr. Lucente.
I have known Dr. Lucente since being a resident at Shore Road Family Practice. Since day one he showed the the heart and tact that many physicians lack in our time. His love for what he does and the patients he treats, should be an example for all future Physicians. It is sad and disheartening to see how slander can try to bring down such a good Doctor, Father, Friend and Brother.
As a fitness consultant I find Dr.Lucentes' approach refreshing. I have personal knowledge of a number of people Dr Lucente has helped achieve their highest level of athletic performance through natural means. Diet & supplements play a tremendously important roll in the leaps of modern athletics. Dr. Lucentes approach to diet& supplements along with a well thought out training program is what gives athletes a long term edge and a lifetime of good health The steroid witch hunt is rampant, more rampant than the drugs themselves. Hormone therapy has a viable place in healthcare,if a person has a need should we withhold treatment for fear of being vilified? Healthcare professionals need to be able to freely practice without fear.
Dr Lucente has treated the most important people I know, my family. As I get older I find I am less and less impressed by the people I meet. I find a great deal of apathy and mediocrity. Dr. Lucente not only impresed me but I was and continue to be impressed. He is a healer and has helped me and my family enormously. Nothing need be added to this. To my friend and the Advance let me quote the Bard himself "Who steals my purse steals trash; 'tis something, nothing; 'Twas mine, 'tis his, and has been slave to thousands; But he that filches from me my good name Robs me of that which not enriches him, And makes me poor indeed." Where does Dr. Lucente go to regain his fine reputation now that The Advance has sullied it. It is next to impossible to unring a bell once it has sounded. Caution should have been used before rash accusations were hurled without thoughfullness. Shame on the author of that article. Ralph Cavolo
I have been a patient of Dr. Lucente's for many years. I was indirectly involved with a case at the DA's office, they treat victim's as if they were criminals. They should go after the real criminals in Kings County. Dr. Lucente I have always trusted and still trust you with my life.
I have been a patient of Dr Lucente's for the past 3 1/2 years. He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He is very caring and very concerned about his patients well being. He is the only doctor I know who actually calls the patient personally to give test results. I have never known any other doctor to do that. He has a great personality to go with his kindess. I trust him completely with my health and my life. It is very sad that there is so much slander out there about doctor Lucente. He does not deserve to be going through this. I am 150% behind Doctor Lucente.
Dr. Lucente has been my physician for many years now, and I have nothing but the highest opinion of him. He is a throwback to the friendliness of doctors years gone by, combined with a professionalism and knowledge of today's cutting edge treatments. I have never asked him a question he wasn't able to answer- and answer with a firm understanding and awareness though always surprises me. I simply cannot believe such a good doctor is being hounded by an unscrupulous bunch. But when I think of today's dishonest, headline driven media, it should not be unexpected.
